Translating Motivation Science for Business, Counseling, Health
Care, and Athletics
The World Society of Motivation Scientists and Professionals (WSMSP),
a nonprofit organization, provides forums for translational models of
human needs (life motives). We encourage matching technologies
that place individuals in situations that naturally motivate them.
We promote tolerance and understanding of diverse personalities.
We encourage research on life motives, universal human values, and
associated personality traits. We support the translation of
motivation science for athletic pursuits; business consultation;
business management; counseling; executive coaching; health care/
wellness (motivating patient compliance with health regimens
including fitness); human resources; intellectual disabilities and
autism; leadership; media psychology; mental health (anxiety and
stress); relationship counseling (marital and premarital); school
psychology; self-determination; spirituality, team building; and
vocational counseling. |
